SEO Keyword Prompts Strategy: How to conduct keyword research for a SaaS Startup
For effective keyword research I began by identifying seed keywords in the learning languages sector and then drilled down to get several long-tail keywords.
For Llanai, the learning language startup, the keyword research I conducted was about ‘learning languages’.
#1. Generating Seed Keywords
For those who don’t know, a seed keyword is a short-tail keyword, usually with one or two words. This is a term or phrase representing your research’s core topic. These are the keywords that you can use as the starting point in a keyword research process in order to unlock more keywords.
[Give me 30 semantically relevant but unique topics under the main category of ‘learning languages’ or ‘learning Spanish’ or ‘Learning French’ or ‘Learning German’
Give me the result in a table with 5 columns.
From the keywords above identify the top 5 you think are most important for immediate focus.]
#2. Identify Long-Tail Keywords
Long-tail keywords, consisting of three to five or even more words, generally have low volume but are less competitive than seed keywords.
[Using ‘learning fast’ as the central seed keyword, identify 15 long-tail keywords that potential customers might use when they look for ‘learning Spanish’ or ‘learning German’ or ‘learning a new language’.
Which three of the 15 long-tail keywords do you think have the most commercial intent, and why]
These keywords indicate a clear intention from users to find solutions or services that enable them to learn German — Spanish rapidly. They suggest that the users are actively seeking methods that can help them achieve their language learning goals quickly and efficiently.
The inclusion of terms like “quick,” “efficient,” imply a sense of urgency and a willingness to invest in services that promise rapid language acquisition.
#3. Keyword Clustering
[Group the following keywords into 3–4 clusters (columns) based on topic relevance:
French Vocabulary
German Pronunciation
Language Exchange
Spanish Literature
German Vocabulary
Spanish Pronunciation
Language Apps
French Literature
Spanish Conversation
French Pronunciation
Language Immersion

Cultural Immersion
Language Certifications

Give the output in a table format.]
[From each keyword cluster — column you’ve created, suggest one blog topic I could write about.]
The above can be used within the blog section while there are other SEO Blog Writing prompts that can optimize your blog.
